Emily "Emy" Ann Nickel

Emy is the daughter of my dear friends Kriss & Mark.  Her sister, Grace, is my daughter Lyndsey's good friend.  On September 25 2015, their whole world came crashing down when Emy was killed in a car accident at the age of 16. 

Purple was Emy's favorite color, so I created a purple Emy collection. I had an acrylic flatback made with a saying Emy had on a whiteboard in her bedroom.  

"The true key to happiness is to love who you are.  Be You."

That saying perfectly describes who Emy was.  Always happy.  Always smiling.  Always making others smile.  Always just being who she was.  She was a beautiful light in this world.  

I am releasing this collection on what would have been Emy's 26th birthday.  A silicone focal bead is also in production, and then I will make more creations! I want to keep Emy's memory alive the best I can, to share her quote with everyone who loves her and those who didn't have the pleasure of knowing her.
